Our Church Reflects - Let Them Pray - Sue

Whenever I'm asked for a favourite verse I find it very hard to think of one. My favourite verse is always the one I've learned something from most recently, and this week that's James chapter 5 verse 13.

'Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray ..."

We learned this in Kings Kids recently and it made me think how often as children we find ourselves 'in trouble'. Can we really pray when we're in trouble? It's not the time we're usually feeling most prayerful - when we're cross or frustrated or 'in trouble'.

Yet isn't this the BEST time of all to turn to God? Isn't this when we need God's love and forgiveness most?

So, is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray.
