This week's Friday coffee morning (1st December) is at Catherine Healy's home, 68 Derwent Drive, starting at 10am, all welcome.

However, the Northampton Wombles are doing a litter pick in Park Square from 10am to 11am tomorrow.  So, you could be very clever (or community-minded!) by doing some litter-picking first and then rewarding yourself with a coffee afterwards!!

We are meeting as usual at Kings Heath Primary Academy this coming Sunday (3rd December), starting at 11am, though some folks will be there from 10.30am helping to get things set up if you would like to come a bit early and lend a hand.

We are entering the season of Advent and will start preparing to think about the coming of Christ, firstly by looking at some prophecies/predictions from the Old Testament about what and who was to come.  So this week's Bible passage will be Isaiah Chapter 40 verses 1 to 11,  if you would like to read this or listen to it at home beforehand in preparation.

We will also be sharing in Holy Communion together.

Finally, Shirley has been in touch to say that the Foodbank out of Duston United Reformed Church has had an increase in its customers and a run on its supplies, and so needs all the usuals, foodstuffs and toiletries, as soon as possible.  As a church we haven't given like this for a while, so this is a good opportunity to be generous to others, whatever you can manage.  Shirley is happy to take donations to Duston, or accept money from which she will buy things, you only have to bring them to church on Sunday.
